Every year, the 1st graders do an “Egg Drop” at the school the day after Easter. It’s actually a very cool physics lesson for the little ones. This year was our family’s final Egg Drop… Kind of weird!
The kids are supposed to design and decorate a container of some kind—however they want to. Then, they put a raw egg in a Ziploc bag and place it in the container. Finally, the school principal goes to the roof of the school and throws the containers off the edge. Once they’ve all been thrown, the kids get to open them up and see whether their eggs survived.
Tatum took a Ziploc container, decorated it, and filled it with cotton balls and the egg. She could hardly bare to watch her container be thrown…

Unfortunately, her little egg didn’t survive. :(
She sure had fun with the project, even if it was “yucky” to clean up. :)

It's been a bit of time since we saw Stewart blogs and it was so fun to catch up on all the great things that you're doing together. Those little people are sure growing up fast. We're glad to see some of the things you're doing, even if it's just in pictures and second hand. You're awesome!
