Well...It's official! We have now had AT LEAST one member from every family needing medical attention in the last 4 months. And that's just the last 4 months! Let me explain...
Early November- Jennifer (1st child) had hernia surgery. It was long overdue, and pretty much an emergency at that point.
Late November- Stacy (5th child) had emergency gall bladder surgery. (I admit I was a little offended when she had to have her gall bladder removed directly following Thanksgiving dinner at my house. What are you trying to say about my cooking, Stacy?!?! lol!)
January was a MESS, to say the least. Grandpa Bird was in the hospital for a while, and eventually returned to his home where he passed away on Jan. 10th, his 90th B-day.
While Grandpa was in the hospital- Klint (4th child, Corrine's hubby) was hospitalized for a few days, with Disarticulates. Not fun!
Also during January- Mom was transported via ambulance to the hospital for debilitating back & leg pain. After much poking and prodding, they released her with further instructions to see a back specialist. She's doing better now, but we're keeping our eye on this one still.
Throughout January- Henna (6th child, Scott's wife) who was pregnant, was in and out of the hospital MULTIPLE times with pre-eclampsia. Those of us who have been through pregnancy know how miserable it would be to be stuck in a hospital for a month, feeling YUCKY!!! She was such a trooper! And on Jan. 27th, via emergency c-section and 6 weeks early, Henna delivered beautiful Eva Dixie Jameson. She was tiny, but healthy. New mommy & daddy are doing well, and Baby Eva is a girly breath of fresh air after a sea of GrandSONS.
February- Dad made a couple of trips to the doctor to have some cysts removed. All is well with that. No worries!
And now March- Tatum (Daughter of the 3rd child, ME) choked on, and eventually swallowed a heart shaped adjustable ring. We rushed her in for x-rays, in the middle of the night. We're now in day 3 of "poop detail", and still no ring. I admit that I'm anxious to find it since it was adjustable, and has 2 pretty sharp ends. I'll keep you posted on that.
Finally, Linsey's most recent post (which is hysterical, as always)... "The wind got me blood!!!" tells about Finn (2nd child, Ryan's son) who had the wind blow the car door closed on his head. He was also rushed in, and received 2 staples in his head. Tough little Finney!
Like they say, "The family that plays together... Stays together! Gets HOSPITALIZED together!!!"
Glad everyone is healthy and on the road to recovery...FOR NOW... ;)

We could add to that this week. Jameson went to the ER yesterday for choking on a lifesaver and never getting it up. They thought a piece might have gotten into his lungs and given him pneumonia. Good news, It's just bronchitis & really bad athsma. Then Klint just completed our set of "his & hers colonoscopies" (as Grandpa called them) and we found that there is nothing wrong with either of us other than we're a family cursed with weird things happening to us. :)
You forgot Dad's endoscopy and I'm sure there were multiple Dr. and urgent care visits we've missed too. No wonder I'm worn out. Let's call it enough, shall we....oh except for the orhtroscopic knee surgery I'm having in April. Then
NO MORE DR's for our family. Enough is enough. Right!??!
